Dinner Rolls/ Pav

Ingredients

  1. Maida
  2. Milk
  3. Milk Powder
  4. Yeast
  5. Sugar
  6. Salt
  7. Butter

Preparation

Step 1.

In quater cup of warm milk add 1/2 tbsp of sugar and 1 tsp of instant active yeast and mix well and let it sit for 15 min , then after 15 min u see that your yeast gets activated by forming bubbles. Then u need to mix1 cup of maid with 1/2 tsp of salt and 1tbsp of milk powder , 2 tsp of butter and kneed it into sticky dough with acivated yeast.

You have to kneed it for 15 mins to get the best results and let it sit for 2 to 3 hrs to raise, then u have to keed the dough with extra flour and make into equal balls and set it in a greased baking tray as you can see in the pic below

Step 2.

Cover the tray and let it sit for 45 min more to raise . After 45 min we can see that our dough will raise up then u need to give milk mixed with sugar wash to get nice colour, mean while you need to pre heat the oven for 10 mins at 200c then bake it for 15 min to 20 mins .

Step 3.

Once its baked remove it from the oven and give a butter wash for nice shine and cover it and let it cool. covering the pav makes it more spongy. You can see ,it will come out perfectly & spongy after baking as you can see in the pics below.

Now pav is ready to have we can serve it as vada pav ,dabeli, masala pav and etc….
