Spicy Fish Curry



  1. Fish
  2. Onions
  3. Mustard Paste
  4. Turmeric
  5. Ginger & Garlic Paste
  6. Chilli Powder
  7. Tomatoes
  8. Garam Masala
  9. Coriander Powder
  10. Kacha Masala
  11. Coriander
  12. Salt
  13. Oil


Step 1.


Clean  the fish and add some salt, and tangy course mustard paste and marinate it for 15 to 20m.

Step 2.

Chop onions according to curry and fish i used 4 to 5 onions for that prtion of fish.

Step 3.

Heat 3 to 4 tbsp of oil in a pan and add 1/3 tsp of kacha masala,then add onions ,salt and to it and fry them till they change to transparent.

Step 4.


Now add 1/4 tsp of turmeric, 1/2 tsp of ginger and garlic paste and stir it, after a while add 1 1/2 to 2 tsp of chilli powder, 1 chopped tomatoes, coriander and cover it with lid and cook it for 5 to 8 m until tomatoes are soft.

Step 5.

Now add 1/2 tsp of coriander Powder,1/4 tsp of Garam masala and some water if needed and cook it for a while then add fish to it and stir it gently and cover the lid and cook it under medium heat.

Step 6.

Fish will not take much time to cook so hardly 5 to 8m then remove the lid and stir carefully as fish will be very soft.Now curry is ready to serve.
