Masala Papad



  1. Papad
  2. Onions
  3. Tomatoes
  4. Green Chilli’s
  5. Coriander leaves
  6. Chilli Powder
  7. Chaat Masala
  8. Lemon Juice
  9. Salt


Step 1.

Mix 1 finely chopped onion, 1/2 tomato, 1 green chilli, some coriander, 1/4 tsp of chilli powder, 1/4 tsp of chaat masala, 1 tsp of lemon juice and salt to taste.



Step 2.


Roast papad in Microwave or else on flame and keep at aside. We can even deep fry papads.



Step 3.

Spread Onion Masala on papad only when you are ready to eat or serve so that papad wont become soggy, It will be yummy with crispy papad and spicy masala.

  1. Great idea! These masala Indian papads are my fav’s. I am originally from Mauritius and we always ate papadums as kids and now as adults. Cannot remember a month in which I did not eat papadums. Now that we are in Australia, we bought the famous Aussie Papadum Express microwave papad cooking rack. It has become easier as anybody can make them, my wife loves that the most. We all love papads so this is easier way to make them and add the salad mix with some masala bite to it too. All this papad talk is making me head straight to the kitchen and whack some papads on the good ol’ papadum express.
