- Beans ( Chikudikaya )

Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a pan, add 1 chopped onion and fry until onions are transparent, now add 1/4 tsp of turmeric, 1 tsp of G & G paste and 5 curry leaves and let it fry.
Now add 1 cup beans & 1/2 cup Green Peas and give a quick stir and add 1/2 cup chopped tomato and 1 1/2 tsp of chilli powder, salt to taste and fry for few minutes so that beans will cook along with tomatoes.
Now close the lid of cooker and wait till we get 2 whistles, after cooker gets cooled down again place it on heat so that water evaporates, Now at this point add 1/2 tsp of coriander powder.
Beans curry is ready , it goes well with chapathis and steamed rice.
