- Ajwain (Carom seeds)
- Baking Soda
For 1 cup of Maida add 1/4 tsp of Baking Soda, 1 tsp of hot oil and rub the flour with your hands so that no lumps are formed.
Add 1/4 tsp of ajwain and salt 1/4 tsp and knead the dough. Kneading the dough for longer period gives nice texture to biscuits.
Take a small size of dough and spread out like chapathi with rolling pin and cut into small diamond shape.
Heat oil in a pan for deep frying, and fry these biscuits till golden colour.
Salt biscuits are ready, You can have it with tea.
