Scotch Eggs



  1. Minced Chicken
  2. Eggs
  3. Mint (pudhina)
  4. Coriander leaves (Kothmeer)
  5. Green chilli’s (pachi mirchi)
  6. Onions
  7. Kabab Masala
  8. Garam Masala
  9. Coriander Powder
  10. Lemon Juice
  11. Pepper Powder
  12. Mirchi Powder (kaaram)
  13. Ginger & Garlic paste
  14. Ghee
  15. salt


Step 1.

Boil  3 Eggs  remove the shell and keep it aside.

Step 2.

Take 1/2 kg Minced chicken wash it and add salt according to your taste, 1tsp mirchi powder, 1tbsp ginger & garlic paste,finely chopped Mint 1/2 bunch,1/2 bunch coriander leaves, 10 Green chilli’s, 1 onion, kabab Masala 1 tsp, Coriander powder 1/2 tsp, garam masala 1/2 tsp, 1 lemon juice, ghee 1/2 tsp, pepper powder 1/4 tsp.

Step 3.

Mix all ingredients well and knead the chicken for some time so that it will come out with good texture and rest it for 2 hours or more if you want .

Step 4.

Now take 1 egg and with the help of water take some marinated chicken and cover overall the egg with thick layer.Repeat the process for other eggs also, you can make chicken kabab  with marinated chicken if left.

Step 5.

Preheat the oven and take a baking tray and set a  aluminium foil in it and bake the scotch eggs in the oven for 20 to 30 mins at 180c. Turn upside down in between.

Step 6.

Now take a scotch eggs and with the help of sharp knife cut into half slices.
